Breaking from underneath the proverbial “Street wear” label that Pigalle is popular and known for, Stephane Ashpool is ready to take things up a notch…

After his ADNAM nomination and hints at wanting to take Pigalle beyond its associations as a street wear brand, Ashpool nominates the boys from the company sponsored basketball team to present his newest collection for Spring 2016. Depicting his personal roots and capturing photos at the school where Ashpool actually went to school, this was a serious step forward in getting away from the entitled street wear stronghold.

Mixed with knitwear pieces and an abundance of pastel colors, the overall concept looks to take us back to our impressionable grade school days, but with a little more of modern touch . Highlighted with patched-suede jackets and blue marble-swirl tracksuits, Bomber jackets and top coats, this collection is full of attention grabbing pieces. Available to release in the coming months at select stockists, make sure to keep an eye out for these and catch what the French designer comes up with.
