An artist with special interests in perspective, shading, and obscure style, Odeith has a mastering technique that makes his murals not only cool to look at, but they’re also in 3-D.
Born in Portugal and raised in the 80’s and 90’s, Odeith was one of the many artists that hopped on the scene during the graffiti craze happening during that time, but it’s his style that always made him and his artwork “stand out” (haha, see what I did there). Known for using a technique which he calls “Sombre 3D”, he’s touched upon a bit of everything from murals and landscapes, to portraits and soulful messages.
Currently working out of London and creating for a career now, Odeith and his anamorphic style do more than just jump out at you, each piece seems to have a certain charisma about them. Maybe, it’s because each letter or object is made to become a literal shape? They’re all of a sudden a physical tool that can be moved, given perspective and have dimension. That’s just what I think, but either way, Odeith and his style are cool with me.
