Key Notes & Brush Strokes – Angelo Hart (Part II)

For Artist and Pianist Angelo Hart, his most recent album Storyteller is an experimental mix of Jazz and Classical music, destined to connect with a focused mind. An instrumental collection of emotions and improv, bouncing around the keys like a brush from Jackson Pollock, it’s difficult to describe the genre of music Hart is making, but not the musical impact. Different from your typical arrangement of blaring mixes jamming multiple instruments into a seamless harmony, this is the story of creating with just one.

Welcome to the Semi-Finals: A RAWartists Phoenix Event

As we wrap up another year of RAWartist Showcases for local Phoenix artists, I can easily say it has been a pleasure to witness the creativity some of these people display throughout 2013. MACKLEMORE & RYAN LEWIS – CAN’T HOLD US FEAT. RAY DALTON (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO)

Obviously, these guys are here to stay…

Not only did Thrift Shop light up the entire world and go 5x’s Platinum (and yes I did say that right, 5 times Platinum!) from one song, its hard to deny the creativity of it and the experience it displays. And it looks like Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have some more plaques on the way with their newest song off of The Heist, Can’t Hold Us.

With the song already an international anthem to breaking out and doing things your own way, the video directly adds to that with scenes of fun times and partying and even a camel walking down the street. These guys are obviously a force to be reckoned and good music is what they do. From the production to the lyrics, concept to visualization, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis were clearly ready for the moment and I’m glad they let us watch it happen.
