Recently released Hip Hop concept album Quantum Leap, created by Yannick Beats and the sonically established character Varnell Hill, easily has some music that could be added to any Hip Hop playlist. Stemming from a mixture of a couple different influences, I’ve personally been playing this album regularly and already have a couple of tracks on repeat.
Angelo Hart, a pianist out of Arizona and Chicago, brings us his first full length album compilation, Intrepid. Groomed while studying music in Chicago, Angelo has learned to create a brand new sound, fresh to classical and jazz-happy listeners everywhere.
Highly anticipated within the TDE community, today Ab-Soul has finally released his long-awaited return album to 2012’s hidden gem Control System. Pieced and crafted together perfectly, These Days… is a just another example of the rapping skills Ab-Soul possesses and the creativity that goes along with it.
Here’s a new clip from Blended Babies for ‘See The World’, their debut single featuring verses from Asher Roth and Chuck Inglish. A smooth track that easily made its way into the rotation after a couple plays.

After listening to Come As You Are for a couple days now, I can easily say this is definitely making its way into the rotation. Even for a mixtape, everything it was composed of was on point. The beats, the rap, and the production made for cool West Coast riding music.
In anticipation for his next album, Born Sinner, J.Cole decides to release a track featuring TLC today. I remember there were some rumors going around that this might happen, but I’m glad they were true and he let us get a listen before the album releases June 18th.
